Morning hike to Paljassaare

05.06.2016 | 08:00
Paljassaare peninsula - TALLINN

Description

"An early bird catches the worm" - this is the slogan of the morning bird-watching tour to Paljassaare peninsula, located close to the centre of Tallinn. The local ornithological society has made great efforts to protect this bird paradise in the vincinity of the city centre, with its two watching towers, which offer good view to the gulf coast.

During the short, morning hiking tour you have a chance not only to observe several bird species, which have already become rare in central Europe, but you also learn a lot of the versatile and interesting history of the peninsula. After ca 2 hours of walking and a light breakfast that you can bring along yourself, you feel fresh to start your day.
