Description

Fish in Fishhouse

Thursday, January 9, 2014

18:00-21:00

bistroo Kukeke, Telliskivi 57

It is rather unlikely that Rudolf Christiansen and Aage Nielsen would have imagined an organization called Danish-Estonian Chamber of commerce to be established in Tallinn, else they would have for sure designed premises for us in the seaplane hangars or the Noblessner's port back in the early 20th century. During the last years the Kalamaja area is being heavily developed and restructured from the old industrial area into an attactive area with direct access to the sea and cultural spot near the center of Tallinn.

Please join us to LEARN MORE ABOUT FISH IN ESTONIA and FISH IN THE FISHHOUSE. Where to get fresh fish in Estonia, how to prepare it and what to drink to it? Why is Kalamaja called Fishhouse and how does the future of Kalamaja look like?

Earlier promised hands-on workshop to prepare fish can unfortunately not take place due to the fact that the event has other partners. Though, it will be a great dinner with excellent networking opportunities!

Program

  • Grande Chef of Clazz, Emanuel Wille, known as Manu by friends will give us an insight to the fish. He has a special passion for fish. Some recepies can be found from his blog here.
  • Evelin Sepp, CEO of Tallinn Creative Hub "What is Fishhouse? And where is it leading to?"
  • Marco Iovino, member of the DECC council and a hobby-importer of wines makes a presentation of a special Danish wine
  • Get to know everyone and have an hyggelig evening and a splendid fish dinner
